The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask HD Remake on Wii U – Is This Legit

I wasn’t an N64 person, so i missed out on a lot of great games, like The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, but luckily for me and you, some game developers Pablo Belmonte and Paco Martinez want to remake it in HD  for the Wii U, only problem they have, is that they need Nintendo’s backing, here is a video of what the game would look like on the Wii U:

Here is what the developers have said:

“We are creating this small test for the ‘big N’ as a proposal to make this project come true. We work in the game industry and we fell in love with this idea a long time ago. The music is totally provisional. We worked for a long time in concepts and designs, but for the real production we spent only one (hard) week, that’s the reason of some “bugs” in animations and post-production that we want to fix soon. We hope that you enjoy and help us with your support.”

The source of this news GamerGirlTay.com decided to create a petition, here is what it says:

In the summer of 2012, a team of industry veterans created a mouthwatering teaser trailer for a potential remake of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.

You can see concept art and the teaser here:

The team is currently in the process of pitching the game to Nintendo, and with enough support from you, a Majora’s Mask Wii U remake could become a reality. Besides being one of the most unique additions to the series, Majora’s Mask boasted stellar reviews upon release in 2000, selling over 3 million copies worldwide.

If you would like to see Nintendo breathe new life into The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask with HD graphics and re-mastered sound on the Wii U, sign this petition and tell your friends!
